Sustainability News & Events

Wolfville, NS – Earlier this year Acadia University installed an electric vehicle charging station at the Acadia Athletics Complex for use by the campus, community, and visitors to Wolfville. The project is a partnership between Acadia University and the Town of Wolfville and is partially funded by Natural Resources Canada.

The Acadia Community Farm will remain closed for the 2020 season. Acadia University is aware of the importance of the Acadia Farm to the campus and Wolfville communities and regrets that this closure is necessary. As a University operation, our first priority is the safe return of our students to campus this fall and many facilities on campus will remain closed until further notice. Please visit the Acadia Covid-19 website for further information on operational changes and fall planning.

The Government of Nova Scotia has lifted restrictions on community gardens. This is good news, however, the Acadia Community Farm will remain closed for the time being until operations plans and safety protocols have been reviewed and updated for the season. Please check back for updates.
