The Acadia Community Farm received a $1000 grant from the Town of Wolfville’s Community Partnership Grant Program. The program provides financial assistance to non-profit organizations or registered charities that operate facilities and organize programs used by residents of the Town.

Registration is now open for the spring course in Sustainable Food Systems and Community Development. The course runs from May 24th to June 10th from 9am-12pm Monday to Friday. This hands on course offered in partnership with the Acadia Community Farm will explore food security, community food systems and other topics as they relate to broader community development themes. Collection for the Acadia Dump and Run begins Monday May 2nd through to Friday May 6th. Items for donation can be delivered to the Acadia Athletic Complex lower west doors between 1pm-7pm. The event will be held Saturday May 7th from 9am-1pm. All proceeds are donated to participating community groups, local charities and campus clubs. Visit Dump and Run for more information.
