From the East Coast to the Middle East in February 2014
Ms. Jodie Noiles, Sustainability Coordinator, Dr. Paul Arnold, Department of Engineering and Mr. Don Jardine, NSCC visited the middle east in February 2014. The group presented on a variety of waste management topics at the International Conference on Sustainable Systems and the Environment held at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE. The trip also involved working on waste management issues with partners in the middle eastern municipality and elsewhere in the region. The conference and trade mission were funded in part by Waste Resource Management International, a Nova Scotia -based cooperative with public and private sector members.
